Low-Carb Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients:

  • °2 lbs ground meat
  • °2 minced garlic cloves
  • °Half a teaspoon of onion powder
  • °1 pound cooked bacon, cut into pieces
  • °8 eggs
  • °1 cup heavy whipped cream
  • °Half a teaspoon of salt
  • °Half tsp ground black pepper
  • °1 package (12 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided

How to make a low carb cheeseburger:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat  skillet on medium-high heat. Cook and toss beef with garlic and onion powder until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard the fat.
  3. Spread the beef on the bottom of a 9″ x 13″ casserole dish. stir in bacon bits.
  4. Whisking eggs, heavy cream, salt & pepper in medium bowl to well blended. Stir in 8 ounces of cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour egg mix on beef & bacon. Top with 4 oz of cheese.
  6. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, 30 to 35 minutes.
