Cowboy Meatloaf and Potato Casserole

Cowboy Meatloaf and Potato Casserole

I’m thinking about buying my first glue gun. I’ve never been a fan of DIY. Oh, I bought various things to try new craft projects like knitting, scrapbooking and jewelry making. But I’ve never bought a glue gun. For me it was about people with aprons and jars of brushes in a specially designed craft room.I never set out to take such a leap.

But my daughter wants to be Frieda Kahlo for Halloween. I need to make a headband with artificial flowers. After careful consideration, I think it’s time to buy a glue gun. I’m just wondering how long it will take before we remove the bed from the downstairs guest room and add a set of matching shelves and boxes.

When you put this grilled sausage and potato stew on the table, you won’t see any cowboys or cowgirls!

Cowboys played an important part in the settling of the western United States. They worked on cattle drives, repaired fences and took care of the horses. Originally many cattle drives started in Texas and ended at the railroad in Kansas.

Cattle drives meant hard, hungry work. Cowboys would rise early in the morning and “guide” the herd to the next night’s stopping point. A herd of about 3,000 cattle usually meant around a dozen cowboys. Plus there was also a trail boss, a camp cook, and a wrangler whose job was to keep track of the extra horses.

How To Make The Best Cowboy Cookies

The best part about Cowboy Cookies is that they are incredibly versatile. You can add in any mix-ins you like to make them your own. Some of my favorites include chocolate chips, pecans, and M&Ms. They are also perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a family gathering, a potluck, or just a lazy Sunday afternoon.

One of my fondest memories of Cowboy Cookies is from a family camping trip. We were all huddled around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and making s’mores when my cousin pulled out a bag of Cowboy Cookies. They were a hit among everyone and we all enjoyed them while sharing stories and laughing.

Whenever I make Cowboy Cookies, I like to get creative with the mix-ins. One time, I added in some shredded coconut and toasted pecans, giving the cookies a tropical twist.

Making Cowboy Cookies is a simple process that can be done in a few steps. First, I cream together the butter and sugar until they are light and fluffy. Then, I add in the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined. Finally, I slowly add in the dry ingredients and any mix-ins I have chosen. I like to use a cookie scoop to portion out the dough onto a baking sheet and then pop them in the oven to bake.

In conclusion, Cowboy Cookies hold a special place in my heart and I love making them for my family and friends. They are a classic treat that never goes out of style and always bring a smile to everyone’s face. Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just starting out, I highly recommend giving Cowboy Cookies a try.
