How To Make PECAN TARTS

Anyone planning to make pecan pies this Thanksgiving? Well if you’re looking to save a bit of time, and still make a total crowd-pleasing dessert, allow me to recommend these adorable little Easy Mini Pecan Tarts!

Ingredients:

1- 3oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened

1 stick of margarine or butter, softened

1 C. flour

Dash of salt

Blend together cream cheese, margarine, flour and salt. Shape into 24 balls; press each ball into 1 3/4? muffin tins (press dough in bottom and sides with fingers, do not leave any holes).

Filling:

2 eggs, beaten

1 C. brown sugar

2 T. margarine or butter, melted

1 tsp. vanilla

Dash of salt

1 C. pecans, chopped

How to make it :

  1. Combine eggs, brown sugar, margarine, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Mix well (do not beat with beater, or tops will be crusty instead of a nutty one).
  3. Divide pecans evenly in pastry shells. Pour filling in shells, filling 2/3 full.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly before removing from pans.
  6. Cool on wire rack. Makes 24. “Nutty” rich–a real favorite.

How To Make TACO BRAID

Ingredients:

1 canister refrigerated pizza crust

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 lb. Zaycon Fresh 93 / 7 Super Lean Ground Beef

3 tablespoons Homemade Taco Seasoning

1/2 cup water

1 cup Fiesta Blend shredded cheese, divided

1 tomato, diced, plus additional for top, if desired

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 cups chopped Romaine lettuce

Sour cream and taco sauce for serving, if desired

Instructions:

  1. Prepare a rimmed baking sheet by lining it with parchment.
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  3. In a large skillet heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 3 – 5 minutes.
  5. Add the Zaycon Fresh 93 / 7 Super Lean Ground Beef and cook until brown.
  6. Add the Homemade Taco Seasoning and water and mix until well incorporated.
  7. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 – 7 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile, transfer the piece of parchment to your work surface.

How To Make Best Scalloped Potatoes

Scalloped Potatoes are a classic dish with layers of potatoes and rich creamy cheese sauce on repeat! The ingredients are simple in these Scalloped Potatoes recipe but they are the perfect from scratch side dish to Easter, Christmas, or Thanksgiving!

So you could imagine what kind of response I would write to the person asking me if they can replace the cup of sugar in the cookies with a cup of salt if I responded in the morning.

No bueno. I decided a long time ago that nighttime is the best time. I’m a lot nicer.

How To Make Chicken Spaghetti Casserole

For some reason or other, this seems to be a favorite of the men in my family.
YUM! We loved this. I made it with 1 lb of spag..so increased the soup to 2 cans, de-boned a rotisserie chicken (approx 4 cups) and doubled the veggies only increased the cheese by 1/2 cup and it was so good and creamy!

Good recipe! I used canned chicken and since I didn’t have cheddar cheese on hand, I used a pizza blend shredded cheese. Yummy!

We enjoyed this. It is a good recipe to use up left-over chicken. Instead of pimentos, I used sliced green olives with pimentos.

I loved this recipe because it was different from other casseroles. I added a can of Rotel tomatoes and had to add chicken broth to make this come together well. It was delicious and I will definitely make it again.

2 cups uncooked spaghetti noodles, broken into 2-inch pieces (about 7 ounces)

COPYCAT CHEESECAKE FACTORY KEY LIME

This Copycat Cheesecake Factory key lime cheesecake is delicious with a yummy graham cracker crust, creamy and tart filling, and a dollop of sweetened whipped cream on top.

Cheesecake has always been my go-to dessert no matter where I go. One of my favorite restaurants to eat at is The Cheesecake Factory. I mean, DUH — cheesecake?

And yet, I will continue to buy them when the mood strikes, and we’ll all continue to ‘relish’ every bite. Pun 100 % intended.

As with everything else in life, I just apply the mantra- everything in moderation.

I wouldn’t eat them everyday, although I’m pretty sure my kids would die happy if they could indulge in them morning, noon, and night.

How To Make Oklahoma Fried Onion Burger ?

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20 for juiciness)

2 large onions, thinly sliced

Salt and pepper to taste

4 hamburger buns, toasted

Optional toppings: cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard, ketchup

Instructions:

Onion Preparation: Begin by thinly slicing the onions. The thinner they are, the crispier they’ll become.

Meat Patties: Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into loose, thin patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Onion Embedding: Press a good handful of the sliced onions into one side of each patty, ensuring they adhere well.

Cooking: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the patties onion-side-down into the skillet. This will help the onions to caramelize and infuse the beef with their flavor. Cook for about 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until the beef is cooked to your liking.

Serving: Place each patty on a toasted bun and garnish with your favorite toppings.
