The Best Ever Beef Stew

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, toss beef stew meat with flour, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Brown the coated beef on all sides.
  3. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot, sautéing until fragrant.
  4. Pour in beef broth, water, and stir in tomato paste, thyme, and rosemary.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until the beef is tender.
  6. Add sliced carrots, diced potatoes, and frozen peas. Simmer for an additional 30 minutes or until vegetables are cooked through.
