PINEAPPLE CAKE BARS

How to make pineapple cupcakes:

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the flour and sugar together for the crust mixture.
  3. Cut in cold butter to the mixture crumbles. Save 1 cup of this mixture for later use.
  4. Place remaining crust mixture in bottom of well-greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Mix the filling ingredients together and spread over the previously baked crust in the baking dish.
  7. Top with reserved crumbled crust mixture.
  8. Bake for 1 hour.
  9. Leave to cook for 15-20 minutes
  10. Whisk the frosting ingredients together until smooth.
  11. Drizzle the frosting over the bars, adding half and half if necessary to reduce the frosting.
  12. Cut it into slices and serve.
