Healthy lentil bread

  1. Rinse the lentils thoroughly and soak them in 700ml of water overnight.
  2. After soaking, drain the lentils and blend them with 100ml of pure water until smooth.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan with vegetable oil.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the blended lentils, olive oil, rice flour, turmeric, ground coriander, baking powder, psyllium, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Fold in the sunflower seeds and sesame seeds into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Slice and enjoy your delicious and healthy lentil bread!
