Method:
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients using an electric beater for about a minute until well incorporated. Pour the batter into a 2-liter ice cream tub.
- Microwave the batter for 8 minutes, then allow it to sit in the microwave for a few minutes. Remove the cake from the tub and let it cool completely.
For the Milo Ganache:
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 heaped tablespoons corn flour
- 3 tablespoons Milo
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method:
- In a saucepan, mix together sugar, corn flour, and Milo. Gradually add milk while stirring continuously over medium heat until a thick paste forms.
- Once the mixture starts bubbling, remove it from heat and stir in vanilla extract and butter until well combined.
- Slice the cooled cake into two sandwich layers. Spread Milo ganache on one half, then place the other half on top. Pour the remaining Milo ganache over the top layer of the cake.
