Directions:
- Line the inside of hot dog buns with mayonnaise and sweet relish. (Yes, it may sound unusual, but the mayo works its magic, keeping the bread super soft and delicious!)
- Evenly add mustard (feel free to add ketchup too).
- Fill the buns with hot dogs and arrange them snugly in a 13×9″ baking pan.
- Top the hot dogs with chili, cheese, and diced onions.
- Cover the baking pan with aluminum foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
- Carefully remove the hot dogs from the pan using a spatula.
