Instructions:
Preparation time: 40 minutes
Cake:
- In a blender, combine the eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, cocoa powder, and flour. Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl and add the hot water and baking powder, mixing until well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake in a preheated medium-high oven (200°C/400°F) for 40 minutes.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and unmold while still hot.
Topping:
- In a saucepan, heat the milk, cocoa powder, butter, and sugar until boiling, stirring constantly until smooth and glossy.
- Pour the hot topping over the cake while it’s still warm, allowing it to soak in and create a delectable finish.
IMPORTANT MEASUREMENTS:
- BUTTER: 1 cup = 225g | 1 tablespoon = 15g
- FLOUR: 1 cup = 130g | 1 tablespoon = 8g
- SUGAR: 1 cup = 210g | 1 tablespoon = 15g
