Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for dusting

How To Make Buttery Pecan Snowball Cookies

Step 1: Prepare the oven. Preheat it to 350 degrees.
Step 2: Cream the butter and powdered sugar in a stand mixer. Adjust the mixer speed to low, then add in the salt, vanilla, flour, and pecans.
Step 3: Into an inch ball, roll the batter and place the balls a few inches apart from each other on parchment-covered baking sheets. Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 11 minutes, making sure to keep an eye on the cookies to not over bake them.
Step 4: Take the cookies out of the oven when done and let them cool a little. Meanwhile, place a cup of powdered sugar in a large Ziploc bag or a wide bowl. Gently coat about 3 to 4 cookies at a time. Scoop the cookies using a fork, shaking gently to remove any excess powdered sugar.   • 1 tsp. Caraway seeds
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Place the sauerkraut into the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Cover the sauerkraut with the potatoes and then the sausage.
  • In a bowl, combine the broth, caraway seeds, and bay leaf.
  • Pour the mixture over the ingredients in the crockpot, and add salt and pepper to taste.

  • 4 tablespoons milk

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  3. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with the onion, garlic and green bell pepper. Drain excess fat. Stir in the noodles, pepperoni, pizza sauce and milk, and mix well. Pour this mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish.

Zucchini Garlic Bites

This tasty zucchini garlic bites recipe combines shredded zucchini with garlic, Parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, and is served with a marinara dipping sauce for an Italian inspired twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded zucchini drained well
  • 1 clove garlic grated fine
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives (or 1 tablespoon dried chives)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1/2 tablespoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
  • pinch of salt and pepper
  • tomato sauce for dipping

Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 400˚F. Lightly coat a baking sheet with olive oil or non-stick spray. Set aside.
    • Use a box grater to grate the zucchini into a clean towel. Roll up the towel and twist to wring out the moisture.
    • Grate the garlic using the small holes on the box grater.
    • Add the shredded zucchini, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, parmesan, chives, parsley, basil, oregano, salt and pepper to a medium bowl. Mix well to combine.
    • Shape a tablespoon of the mixture into your hands, pat into small balls, and place on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes in the preheated oven until golden. Serve warm with marinara sauce. Recipe makes about 16 bites.

Notes

How to Freeze

Follow the recipe and let zucchini bites cool. Place in a single layer on a large baking sheet and flash freeze for one hour. Once the zucchini balls are frozen, place them into a freezer bag. Store up 4 months in the freezer.

Reheat by preheating your oven to 400˚F. Place the frozen zucchini garlic bites on a baking sheet and bake until heated through and crispy on the outside, about 10 to 15 minutes.

  • 2 Cans refrigerated crescent rolls

How To Make Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Roll the crescent rolls out flat, and cut each triangle in half lengthwise.
  3. Cook the ground sausage until it is completely browned.
  4. Add the cooled ground sausage to a mixing bowl with the cream cheese and shredded cheese of your choosing as well as pepper to taste. Stir to combine completely.
  5. Spoon a small ball of the sausage mixture into the top of each piece of crescent roll where it is fattest.
  6. Starting at the widest end, roll the crescent roll dough over the sausage filling forming a mini stuffed crescent roll.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

  2. Cut the potatoes into long thin french fry shapes.
  3. Combine the cut up potatoes, olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning as well as salt and pepper to taste in a large mixing bowl, toss to coat the fries well.
  4. Spread the fries out in an even layer on a baking sheet, and bake for 30 minutes, stopping to toss and flip the fries halfway through.
  5. Sprinkle the fries with the parsley flakes and ¼ cup of the Parmesan, toss to coat, and bake for another 10-15 minutes until don to your liking.

This will always be my ultimate comfort food! I learned this recipe when I was around 12 years old. My Aunt taught me this recipe and I’ve been cooking it ever since! How To Make Fried Cabbage with Bacon Onion and Garlic

Place the bacon in a large stockpot and cook over medium-high heat until crispy, about 10 minutes. Add the onion and garlic; cook and stir until the onion caramelizes; about 10 minutes. 1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Add eggs and oil and stir to combine.
Fold in vanilla, pineapple, banana, pecans, and raisins and pour batter into prepared pan.
Place pan in oven and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 1 hour. (But start checking on it at 45 minutes just to be safe.) If cake is browning too quickly, lay a piece of aluminum foil over the top.

How To Make Cheesy Asparagus Casserole

Heat the oven to 400 degrees. – Wash and trim the asparagus, then grease a 9 x 13 baking tray and place them in it.In a skillet, melt the butter over a medium heat, then add the soft cheese, heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Stirring constantly until ingredients are well blended.

Reduce the heat to medium/low and bring the sauce to a simmer until the heavy whipping cream has reduced and thickened.Keep whisking until it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. It will take a few min for sauce to reduce & thick.Once thick, add the Parmesan cheese and Pepper Jack cheese and continue to stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.Pour the cheese sauce over the asparagus in the middle of the casserole, avoiding the tops of the asparagus.Next, sprinkle mozzarella cheese and crushed red pepper flakes over the cheese sauce.

Bake for 15 minutes.If you prefer crunchy asparagus, you can reduce the baking time by 2-3 minutes.Remove from oven and add bacon crumbs to the top.Bake for another 3 minutes and Enjoy!
