In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Add the chicken broth and heavy cream to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it has thickened slightly, about 5 minutes.

Add the cooked pasta and sausage to the skillet and stir to combine. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top of the pasta and stir until it is melted and well combined. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
