How To Make Pan Seared Fish Fillets

Ingredients:

  • Fish fillets (use your preference, I used catfish)
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 tbsp Capers
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Seafood magic seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Liberally season your fish with an all-purpose seafood seasoning blend.
  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add just enough olive oil (EVOO) to barely coat the pan, and then add a couple of tablespoons of butter.
  3. Place the fish in the pan and cook until nicely browned, about 4 to 5 minutes on one side. Add sliced lemon, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a teaspoonful of capers.
  4. Flip the fish and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes on the other side, reducing the heat to medium.
  5. Serve with a tomato and arugula salad for a keto-friendly yet flavor-packed dish.
