How to grow Aloe vera at home

Aloe Vera thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Place the pot near a sunny window where it can receive sunlight for at least 6 hours a day.

Watering:

Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Aloe Vera is drought-tolerant and can withstand periods of dry soil.

Water sparingly, and avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot.

Temperature:

Aloe Vera prefers temperatures between 59°F to 77°F (15°C to 25°C).

Protect the plant from temperatures below 50°F (10°C) and avoid exposing it to frost.

Fertilizing:

Aloe Vera doesn’t require frequent fertilizing. You can feed it with a diluted, balanced, liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).

Pruning:

Remove any dead or damaged leaves at the base using clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears.
