  1. 4 tablespoons Butter
  2. 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  3. 2/3 c Low Sodium Beef Broth
  4. 4 Onions, peeled and sliced
  5. 1 c Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  6. 4 Chicken Breasts, boneless skinless
  7. 1/2 c Parmesan Cheese, shredded
  8. 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  9. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  10. 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  11. 1 teaspoon thyme

How To Make French Onion Chicken Bake

  1. Prepare the oven and preheat to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F.
  2. Apply cooking spray in a baking dish.
  3. Put a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium-high.
  4. Add butter and let it melt.
  5. Add the onions, then sauté for a few minutes until soft.
  6. Turn the heat to medium-low, then add the garlic, pepper, and thyme. Sauté until aromatic.
  7. Add the balsamic vinegar and beef broth, then stir until well blended. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the skillet to get the browned bits.
  8. Simmer everything for 10 minutes or until the onions caramelize.
