Fold in toasted walnuts for warmth and crunch, and you have 8×8 inches of pure banana dessert bliss. You’ll need 1 cup of mashed ripe banana for this recipe, which comes out to be about 3 medium bananas. The riper the bananas, the better for baking, so bring on the spots!

If you like banana bread, you’ll love this blondie brownie-inspired version.

It has the deep, sweet fruitiness of banana bread, with the chewy decadence and intense brown sugar notes of a blondie.

This caramel sauce is enjoyed as a topping on anything from ice cream.

It is so incredibly easy to make homemade caramel sauce, and you can store it in the fridge for weeks to use in lots of different ways (see my ideas below).

  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make VEGAN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

Before I became vegan, I used to love chocolate mousse. So I tried different plant-based versions with silken tofu and avocado, but this one is by far my favorite!

I’ve made this recipe so many times and it’s always a real winner. Nobody will notice it’s completely vegan!

The main ingredient for this recipe is aquafaba. I’ve you haven’t heard of aquafaba yet, you should really give it a try! It’s a magical ingredient in the vegan kitchen.

It’s the perfect plant-based subsitute for egg white and it can be whipped up perfectly. It’s also a great binder for vegan baked goods. And don’t worry, you can’t taste the chickpeas at all!

Then divide everything between four glasses and place it in the fridge overnight to set. It will be so fluffy, chocolatey, and perfectly sweet.

Ingredients:

  • 150 g dairy-free dark chocolate , plus extra for serving
  • 2 large…

How To Make Lentil Quinoa Soup

A hearty, high-protein soup that’s easy and delicious! Using pantry and fridge staples, this warm and comforting Lentil Quinoa Soup comes together easily. Perfect for any night of the week!

Soup is one of the easiest ways to pack a lot of nutrition into every bite. It’s also easy to customize with your favorite seasonings and produce.

This Lentil Quinoa Soup needs minimal prep and is ready to hit the dinner table in about 45 minutes. Enjoy it with a side of crusty bread or serve it over noodles for an even more satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • Lentils: Choose dry brown lentils. Green lentils work but will take up to 45 minutes to cook. Red lentils will not work in this recipe (they are better for things like curries, pasta sauce and even plant-based burgers).
  • Quinoa adds depth and plant-based protein to the soup. I usually use white quinoa but any kind will work.
  • Mirepoix: This is just the carrotsyellow onions and celery sautéed in olive oil. White onion also works.
  • The spices: There are a lot of spices in this recipe. Cumin, marjoram, nutmeg, paprika, onion powder, parsley, cayenne and bay leaf. It’s what gives the soup such a warm profile. Oregano can be used in place of marjoram if …
