Pork Chips Supreme

When I was younger and started to take an interest in learning to cook, my mom used to make this dish. This is the first one I remember doing myself.
Maybe because it was one of my favorite dishes. So, you know, the one I should know. This is severe consolation food. It fills you up, warms you from the inside out, and it’s so simple.
If you love pork chops like we do, this is a must have for your recipe collections. I can’t imagine anyone getting tired of this dish. No lie, apparently the original recipe came from a cookbook my mom had that she gave me when I first learned to cook.
Of course, I made a variation on the recipe, to make it easier and/or healthier. Pork is another white meat, which makes it just as healthy. Remember, however, not to overcook the pork chops.

Ingredients:

°6 lean pork chops, boneless
°2 tablespoons of olive oil
°5 russet potatoes, finely chopped
°One sachet of onion soup mix
°1 can of condensed cream of onion soup
°Half a cup of full fat milk
°Pepper and salt to taste

How to make

The first step:
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat
Brown the pork chops on both sides
The second step:
Preheat oven to 350 *
Lightly grease a 9″ x 13″ baking dish
Third step:
Spread potato slices on the bottom of the plate
Lay the roasted pork chops on the potato layers

The fourth step:
In a medium bowl, combine milk, onion soup mix, and heavy cream of onion soup mix
Stir well
Fifth step:
Pour this mixture over the pork chops and potatoes
Bake for 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender

If you need more time, cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for another 10 minutes.

Low carb cheese bread

This keto cheese bread is made with a simple yeast-free dough and topped with two types of cheese! Made with only 5 ingredients, the complete recipe takes less than 10 minutes!
The MVP menu item at any classic Italian restaurant isn’t pizzeria or pizza. It’s not tiramisu or ice cream either. Nothing comes close to cheese and garlic breadsticks.
Before I started the keto diet, there was more than one occasion where I finished an entire meal of cheesy breadsticks on my own and still had room for my appetizers. I always have a second stomach for anything with carbs and cheese and this one was no exception.
Now, if we analyze correctly what this dish is, it is basically an oval shaped pizza dough topped with melted cheese. Since going keto, I haven’t cut these foods out of my diet. On the contrary, they are more present. As someone who still loves bagels and cheese pizza, recreating this popular bagel was a no-brainer.

Ingredients:

°1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
°1 cup grated parmesan cheese
°1 large egg
°Garlic powder to taste
°Italian seasoning to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat oven 350°F (175°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
2. In a bowl, mix the grated mozzarella, grated Parmesan cheese and eggs until a paste forms.
3. Sprinkling garlic powder & Italian seasoning on the dough and mix well.
4. Spreading dough on prepared cookie sheet.
5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until edges begin to brown.
6. Turn the oven over and roast for 1 minute, until golden brown.
7. Take it out of the oven, let it cool slightly, chop it up and Enjoy !
