Mastering the art of watering is key to orchid health. Regularly hydrate your orchids, ensuring the substrate slightly dries between waterings. Orchids disdain waterlogged conditions, so adopt a “soak and drain” method – immerse the pot in water, then thoroughly drain any excess.
Maintaining appropriate humidity levels is also crucial, particularly in arid environments. Enhance humidity by placing a water-filled tray near your orchids or by employing a humidifier.
