Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture. Beat until well combined.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
6. Gently fold in the chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups and chocolate chips, if using.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
