Ingredients:
- °1 cup butter
- °1 cup of sugar
- °5 eggs
- °1 teaspoon vanilla
- °1 cup flour
- °1 teaspoon baking powder
- °Half a teaspoon of salt
- °2 cups whole milk
- °12 ounces evaporated milk
- °14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
- °1 1/2 cups whipped cream
- °1 cup of sugar
- °1 teaspoon vanilla
How to make :
- Preheat oven to 350°F & grease a 9″ x 13″ baking dish.
- In bowl, mix butter & sugar & beat to smooth. Adding eggs & vanilla and beat until light and fluffy.
- In bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt. Once mixed, slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prick the top of the cake with a fork and let it cool to room temperature.
- In a large bowl, combine whole milk, evaporated milk and condensed milk. Pour milk mixture over cooled cake and allow time for the liquid to be absorb.
- In chilled bowl, whipping heavy cream, 1 cup sugar, also vanilla together until stiff peaks form. Pour the shake over the cake once all the milk has soaked up.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired. Store the cake in the fridge and serve chilled.
