Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together 3/4 cup of room-temperature unsalted butter, 1 cup of light brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Stir in 1/4 cup of chunky peanut butter, 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 1/2 cups of coarsely chopped pretzels into the dough until evenly distributed.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Sprinkle the toppings (as desired) over batter on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into squares or bars.
