Instructions:
For the Butter Cake:

For the Buttercream Frosting:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
- Gradually add the confectioners’ sugar, beating well after each addition.
- Pour in the milk and vanilla extract, then continue beating until the frosting is smooth and fluffy.
- Once the cakes are completely cooled, frost the top of one cake layer, place the second layer on top, and frost the entire cake.
