large aloe vera leaf (or 1 cup of store-bought pure aloe vera gel)
2 tablespoons of coconut oil or olive oil (optional, for extra nourishment)
A blender
A bowl
A strainer (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Extract the Gel: If using a fresh aloe vera leaf, cut off a large leaf from the plant. Slice the leaf open lengthwise and scoop out the gel using a spoon. Collect the gel in a bowl.
Blend the Gel: Place the aloe vera gel in a blender and blend until smooth. This helps break down the gel into a more liquid consistency, making it easier to apply.
Mix in Oil (Optional): For extra nourishment, add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil or olive oil to the blended aloe vera gel. Blend again until well mixed.
